Reem Acra has been a favorite for a few years.  Love the cuts and the ethereal feel of the dresses.  

A Sarasota Inspired Welcome Bag

When someone visits us, I make sure to spruce up their room a bit.  You'll most likely discover fresh flowers, bottled water, magazines, and a bar of swiss chocolate next to your bed if you ever find yourself a guest in my home.  All of that literally takes a few minutes to put together, but it makes people feel comfortable and welcomed.  So it is with your wedding, and this is the first chance of the weekend to make them feel right at home. Indeed it's one way of showing everyone what gracious hosts y'all are.

Since most of my bride's are in my neck of the woods, I thought I'd share some ideas for a 

Sarasota Inspired Welcome Bag.  

Most important item :  A wedding weekend Itinerary.  This one seems to have it all!

• adorable tili bags - that guests can use later - fill up with packs of la fresh sunscreen, Emergen-C, mini packs of advil, or some marvis toothpaste. 
• A custom cookie for a midnight snack from Sarasota's The Short Giraffe
• a custom welcome tote from the wedding chicks - doubles as a beach bag! 
• Florida Spring Water by Zephyrhills
• a couple San Pelligrino Limonata's.
• Something Sweet (the cookie can take care of that) and something savory - Chips work.
• if you'd like to get the party started early - a mini bottle of your favorite alcohol.  
• A handwritten thank you note is an extremely thoughtful touch!  

Whether you're in Sarasota or in Italy - you can customize it to your feel, theme, and personality!  

Have fun with it, and know your guests will truly appreciate the extra step you went.
