{1,2, 3 &4, 5&6}

Part of every summer growing up was spent in Mississippi visiting my grandmother.
As a kid, my mom could earn 10 cents per garbage bag she filled up with cotton.
times have changed, i bought a small bag for $10!

  Cotton fields cover Mississippi.. It's one of the reason I love the ride through the 'Sip.
and lightning bugs and fields of cotton or wheat - what could be better?
so of course, i love to see cotton incorporated into weddings these days.
it's natural, raw, and southern to the core.

10 love letters:

  1. this is so pretty!!! on the way to my grandparents we always pass the cotton fields & they are so gorgeous.

  2. Ah I love cotton fields! Just one of the great aspects of living in the south!

  3. looks really beautiful - would love to drive through cotton fields one day, must be so pretty!

  4. your so precious. I can hear you saying exactly what you just wrote in your lovely little accent :)!

  5. I absolutely love this. My granddad used to harvest ( you call it harvesting?) cotton. When my mom was a kid, she and her brothers and cousins would help and at the end of the day get to jump into a huge trailer of cotton on the back of the pickup truck. I'll have to keep this in mind for the future!

  6. I love this trend - its so nostalgic for those of us that grew up surrounded by cotton fields! And, it just a sweet look.

  7. oh my gosh! so unique, i love it!
